Product details from official sources

Blume is an open-source documentation framework for humans and AI agents, built on Astro and Vite and currently at version 2.1. Users drop Markdown or MDX into a folder, run blume dev, and get a production-grade docs site with navigation, search, theming, Open Graph images, and a rich component library — with no app boilerplate to write or maintain. Every Blume site is AI-ready out of the box: it emits llms.txt and llms-full.txt, serves any page's raw Markdown by appending .md to its URL, exposes a JSON API described by OpenAPI, and can host an MCP server so coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor can search and read the docs directly. Local search works in dev and production with no hosted index. Blume is free and open source forever under the MIT license, with no plans, seats, or credits — users pay only their own host and model provider — and setup starts with npx blume init.
